Deca Durabolin – also known simply as Deca – is a highly popular steroid that is used by many bodybuilders in order to increase muscle mass, strength and recovery.
All anabolic steroids carry a serious risk, but many bodybuilders and other strength athletes choose to overlook this in order to enjoy the benefits. Simply: you cannot reach the same level of strength without using something in order to get that edge.
But is a Deca and Testosterone stack a good combination?
Deca Durabolin and Testosterone Stack
Deca Durabolin does not work via androgen receptors but rather works to increase protein synthesis in the muscles. It does this by raising the red blood cell count, helping to deliver more oxygen, glucose and nutrients to the muscle both as it is working and afterward while you recover. The result is significantly increased muscle mass.
One problem with this however is that deca is also highly active against hormones. It is well known for drastically decreasing and suppressing natural testosterone production. In fact, Deca is actually so active in this way that it can be used as a form of contraceptive for women!
For men this is bad news, seeing as it leads to impotence and could require permanent HRT to fix.
The solution then may seem to be stacking with testosterone injections. This can then offset some of those effects and potentially increase muscle mass. The problem is that when you combine these steroids together, you actually exacerbate one of the other unwanted side effects: increased estrogen. This can then have a number of other unwanted effects.
For one, this leads to increased water retention and weight gain. Water is stored around the skin and that can lead to a ‘puffy’ look – far from the lean muscle gain many guys envisage. What’s more, is that it can cause gynecomastia and the formation of breasts (deca alone will cause the former but not the latter).
There are many other side effects of using deca and testosterone injections (Sustanon 350)too. These include acne, hair loss, aggression, sweating, insomnia and more. Not only that, but the deca at least is liver toxic, which can potentially be a very serious and even lethal issue.
The Solution
As you can see then, the risks of using deca are severe and using testosterone on top of this is only going to make certain areas worse.
This might seem obvious: the best way to cure the side effects of steroids is not to take more steroids! However, you might be surprised to learn that this is the tact that many athletes use anyway!
Better is to use a natural alternative. Decaduro is a product that is made using entirely natural ingredients that have been shown in laboratory settings to stimulate the same protein synthesis and red blood cell count as deca – but in a totally natural and healthy way. This product is completely legal, far easier to obtain and carries none of the risk.
